Descripción de investigación:El trabajo que se realiza en la línea de Planificación y Ordenamiento Territorial es investigar cómo hacer un uso armónico del espacio geográfico, compatibilizando aspectos políticos, económicos, sociales, culturales y ambientales. La unidad básica que se analiza es la de cuenca hidrográfica, e involucra trabajo con suelos, aguas, vegetación, fauna, comunidades humanas y rasgos geomorfológicos del paisaje.
